We at Craft have been fans of silversmith Raven Hanna for ages (check out our profile from Craft, volume 06), and I love her newest offering from the Makerโs Market: a DNA/RNA base pair friendship necklace set! I had a friendship necklace with my best friend when I was in middle school, but it was just the classic-but-boring one everyone else had with their BFF. I think I liked wearing it more because it made me feel cool than because of the special bond we had. This would be a really fun gift for a scientifically minded grown-up best friend; itโs more like an in-joke than bragging rights.
