Cold Weather Knitting: Reversible Cowl

I donโ€™t know how the weather is where you live, but here in Brooklyn, it has been stupid cold for more than a week. Like, well below freezing cold. Curse the fact that youโ€™re living in a drafty old brownstone cold. Zip a hot water bottle into your hoodie cold. (Iโ€™m not kidding. Even as I write this, my trusty red hot water bottle is peeking out of my sweatshirt.) And, while I totally get that there are plenty of places that regularly see temperatures a whole lot lower than last nightโ€™s 3 degrees F, I think we can all agree that, for any fiber crafter, all significant drops in temperature can only mean one thing: Itโ€™s definitely knit oโ€™clock. Bonus points: When that knitting contains two warm and cozy layers!

Not only is this reversible cowl knitting project from The Purl Bee delightfully versatileโ€”you get two colors options in one lovely piece of outerwearโ€”its double layer design is also deeply practical for those extra-chilly February days.
