Faux-Socks

All Buttoned Up loves the feel (but not the look) of white athletic socks worn with boots. So she’s come up with this ingenious way to sew faux-socks (“but not legwarmers”!) that fake the look of colorful socks when they peek out between skirt and boot. As she points out, it’s also a nice way to get used to sewing stretchy material. Link.
