Jessica Harrison’s Ceramic Sculptures

I’m strangely drawn to these totally creepy ceramic scultures by British artist Jessica Harrison. Happy shepherdesses proffer their brains, delicate ladies cradle severed heads, and sickly sweet zombies await their tea. The contrast between the fine porcelain and the detailed blood and gore is quite amazing!
