French seams are a seaming technique that completely encases the raw edges of your fabric where pieces are joined, giving projects a clean, professional-looking finish thatโ€™s especially great for clothing and working with delicate materials. And, even though it looks like a high-end finishing technique, itโ€™s actually very easy to doโ€”as long as youโ€™re just sewing in a straight line.
