Who doesn’t love these old industrial films from the mid-20th century? Via Mark at Boing Boing comes a video from the 1950s(?) showing and describing all of the parts of a watch and how they all work together.

Mark also points to a previous video, from the 1930s, showing how a differential gear works on a car. We posted that video here, back in the day, too.
