I don’t have a proper light box, so I generally use my bedroom window to trace embroidery patterns onto fabric. If it’s dark, or I don’t have a printer handy, I’m pretty much stuck. Luckily, in her tutorial for using a computer screen as a light box, Mollie at Wild Olive has reminded me that, as far as backlit surfaces go, I really don’t need to look much further than my desk.
Tracing patterns onto fabric directly from my screen?! This is definitely one of those moments where I’m smacking my forehead, wondering why I haven’t been doing this all along.
