I took the case apart. Unscrewed the metal housing around the DVD drive. Tossed it. I then measured where the manual eject button rests when the drive assembly is mounted. I drilled a hole in the face of the 5005. Now whenever the drive sticks, I use a small rod and manually eject the disk.” [via] – Link.
