I was an editor on the first 40 volumes of MAKE, and I love shining light on the incredible makers in our community. In particular, covering art is my passion — after all, art is the first thing most of us ever made. If you’re in New York City on March 6th and 7th, check out Eyebeam‘s Expo: Mixer event with airborne surveillance balloons, guerrilla media towers, and computerized prayer booths. The event transforms Eyebeam’s warehouse space into a temporary village occupied by a dozen creatively engineered pavilions, performances, and DJ sets by Tim Sweeney and Juan Maclean.
