MAKE Engineering Intern Eric Chu sent me the link to this cool video of a tiny 24 “room” apartment in Hong Kong. Using a system of tracked/rolling walls, the owner-builder is able to transform the space from living, cooking, dining, sleeping, and other areas. And think of all of the exercise he gets yanking those wall units around all day! Seems like just sitting at your desk, then having to get up and grab a coffee, then going to the can would involve quite the number of steps. But given the cramped quarters of many Hong Kong dwellings, this might constitute a “high level problem.” [Thanks, Eric!]
