Turning Wooden Pokéballs on a Lathe

As soon as the Pokémon craze hit I knew I was in trouble…

Now all three of my children have one of these handmade pokeballs. Fortunately my wife can paint, so she painted them with acrylic. This was a fun project, and it only took me about an hour to finish. I used Maple, and each one measures 2¾”. I put together a short video showing how I made it.

The kids eventually lost interest, but there for a few weeks I didn’t see much of them or the Pokeballs…lol

I did an Instructable for the project as well.
