Jimmy Kimmelโs resident maker Science Bob conducted some live experiments on television recently (see videos below) and it reminded some of us around the MAKE water cooler of his stage presentations at New Yorkโs World Maker Faire back in September (see video above). The Kimmel videos include a terrific closing segment of a laser-powered exploding pumpkin. Meanwhile, his stage presentation at World Maker Faire was filled with geek trivia (including the title of Queen Amidalaโs science fair project title and Mayam Bialikโs double-life as an actual neuroscientist when not playing one on t.v.), an elephant toothpaste experiment, a picture of Science Bobโs Trek-like classroom, and of course his own personal favorite experiment for audiences you have to see to believe.
