Arduino co-founder David Cuartielles shares pics of his new interface for sound exploration, the Peacock โ€“

It is an instrument for live performace or personal exploration of both live and digitized sounds. You can get sound from an SD card or record it through its mic-in. The sound will be looped and affected in different ways by different effects and digital filters.

The device is built around Cuartiellesโ€™ Smapler audio sampling board with amplifying circuit and orange LEDs for good measure. The design seems reminiscent of classic antique radio and speaker cabinets, but realized in laser cut plastics โ€“ very cool. Read more about the Peacock on the BlushingBoy blog.
