OK, while I can’t verify it was their “first” Maker Faire, this is the story of Paula Chang and Mike Cheung who were first introduced to each other at Maker Faire Bay Area, and now run Tinkering Monkey, a woodshop and online business based in their garage and loft in Oakland, Calif. First reported at Apex Express, which chronicles “the voices and stories of Asians and Pacific Islanders from all corners of our community,” it’s also a great maker love story.
