These robot sculptures, created by Gordon Bennett, are made from a mixture of both old and new found objects. The parts are found in various places, including garbage dumps, basements, construction sites and garage sales. They are inspired by Norman Bel Geddes and Raymond Loewry, whose visions of the “Modern Age” helped shape industrial design in the ’40s and ’50s. Link.

An eco-car that can travel the world using a fraction of the electricity it takes to power a light bulb, has been unveiled by its British creators. According to the British gas firm BOC, its hydrogen-powered BOC Ech2o needs just 25 Watts — the equivalent of less than two gallons of petrol — to complete the 25,000-mile global trip, while emitting nothing more hazardous than water. Felony for weezing the Wi-Fi? In a way, Dinon was fortunate the man outside his home stuck around since it remains a challenge to catch people in the act. Smith, who police said admitted to using Dinon’s Wi-Fi, has been charged with unauthorized access to a computer network, a third-degree felony. A pretrial hearing is set for July 11. It remains unclear what Smith was using the Wi-Fi for, to surf, play online video games, send e-mail to his grandmother, or something more nefarious.
