Computerless Arduino

So cool: The Computerless Arduino consists of two major components; an Arduino-compatible microcontroller loaded with a realtime code interpreter, and a stand-alone 5-button LCD display to display port values and manipulate code. The display can be connected to the Arduino via a 4-pin port at any time to peek at In/Out values, view the current […]

Interactive Punching Bag is Like a Simon That You Hit

Which is something that I’ve been wanting for years, and not because I harbor any kind of weird anti-Simon resentment. I just think it would make bag workouts way more interesting. The project has an Arduino for brains, and has been pretty well-documented by its creator Lior Elazary. Next: Spice it up a bit, add more striking zones, different color LEDs, maybe some screaming, groaning, grunting, and/or Steven-Seagal-style bone-breaking sound FX. Nice work, Lior! Kinect & Arduino-Controlled Delta Robot

This is a project in development for the module “Digital Ecologies”, at the Bartlett’s AAC Msc. A Delta-Robot is controlled by a Kinect through Processing and Arduino. The movements of the performer control directly the position of the robot’s effector, and the rotation and opening of the gripper. Once the plattform is properly calibrated (still […]
