TI Calculator enthusiasts rejoice. A few weeks ago, Dan Englender released a new flash application usb8x. Usb8x is a driver that interfaces with the On-the-Go USB port in the TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. It is designed to be used by other programmers to create drivers for a variety of USB peripherals, including a keyboard and mouse.
In Vietnam, there is a shortage of endoscopes, with normally only one in each province. A hospital doctor in the poor rural area around the Mekong Delta in Vietnam has used his PC and some cheap parts to create a homemade endoscope. Thanks Ewan!

It run doom on it! MAME for Digita, the first truly portable version of MAME, emulating Donky Kong and Doom for Digita running shareware Doom on a Kodak DC265 Digita OS based digital camera. MAME for the Sega Dreamcast video game console connected to a TV emulating Xevious. Thanks Doug!
Casey rules…a simulation of the old Wooden Labyrinth game. the cool part is that its controlled by a web cam attached to a slate Tablet PC. so you physically have to tilt the Tablet PC which tilts the game board and makes the marble roll accordingly. you can also control it with a web cam attached to a desktop computer by holding the camera and tilting the camera yourself (else you can just use a mouse). this is actually the first game i’ve ever written, and its also the first time i’ve written a Managed Direct3D application from scratch. oh yeah, the binaries can be downloaded … and i’ll put the code up within a couple days (need to clean it up). finally, there are also some videos of it in usage
