To celebrate 60 years on the throne Pantone and Leo Burnett London have joined forces to create a high design homage to Her Majesty with a limited edition colour guide of the different hues of the Queen’s famous stylish ensembles through the years. This guide uses Pantone colour references and give the date and location of each outfit the Queen wore.
If you’ve got an iPad with a camera, you can now use it to capture 3D objects using Autodesk’s new 123D Catch app for the iPad. Similar to the desktop software of the same name, you take a series of photographs of an object or setting and upload them to a server. The service will then compile a fully textured 3D model for display and manipulation.
I’ve been wanting to try out Spoonflower textile printing for a while, but I’m no expert in surface design. I love this DIY newsprint scarf project they posted on their blog, which uses Photoshop to turn a “useless” family keepsake (old newspaper clipping) into a useful one (silk scarf)!

While we all love and now actually NEED technology in our lives and homes, we may not dig the aesthetics and look all of these electronics create. I appreciate an innovative idea that helps mask some of this and the anamu blog has a killer one with this Re-style Your Router post. I totally want to try this now!
