Texas String Art

Texas String Art

In anticipation of the Dallas premiere tomorrow night (!!!) I have Texas on the brain. I am and was a HUGE fan of the original series and am so excited to see ole’ JR up to his dirty tricks at the beautiful Southfork. Luckily, blogs like Our Mini Family help/enable my love/obsession for the series with awesome projects like this great Texas string art piece. They show you how to do this for your home state, and although I hail from Virginia and reside in New York, I think I would go with Texas too.

This screen door embroidery from Abbey at Aesthetic Outburst is so freaking cool! Living in a Brooklyn apartment, I don’t have a screen door of my own, but I’m definitely eying my windows with some serious intent.
