RadioShack is looking to better understand the needs of makers/DIY hobbyists. As part of that effort, they’ve asked if we would run a brief survey on MAKE. They’d like to hear from you. It’s a brief survey, which will take about five minutes of your time, and as an incentive, we’ll be be giving away a $150 Maker Shed Gift Certificate, at random, to one respondent.

Earlier in the week, we asked our staff, some of our MAKE contributors, and you, dear readers, to share some maker tips and words of wisdom from your dads and granddads. We got a lot of great contributions, stellar words of wisdom, filled with practical ingenuity, good humor, and down home philosophy as only dad can spin it.
Thingiverse user EverydayInventors provides this worthy addition to the amusing warning label genre, for those “when you know it’s not a good idea, but you’ve gotta do it anyway” situations.
